    Am I asking to much?

Seems like a good price to me. GLWS. If I knew which direction I wanted to go for my stand I'm planning now I would consider this.

    Raspberry Wheat recipe ?'s

I would just follow the recipe if its only your second batch. Next time, if you want to try it again, out it all in secondary and see what kind of difference it makes. Make a learning experience out of it.

    Raspberry Wheat recipe ?'s

I puréed 5lbs of fresh raspberries and added them to secondary for 15gal. Not sure if that's any help to you.

Deleted my Facebook profile and it feels GREAT. Highly recommended!

I had been meaning to do this for months now for many of the same reasons as previously mentioned. I have grown very tired of the mindless posts that people make or the ambushing that seems to occur when various topics are brought up. Only reason I neglected to do it for so long is I keep in...

Nut browns taste like.... What nut?

I'd go with the acorn as well. That being said a buddy of mine made a Nut Brown with Hazelnut extract and there was a subtle hint of hazelnut to the aroma and taste of the beer. Not sure if this is possible with any other "nut" extracts as I have not looked into it at all.

    Bend Bound

It's too bad you only have a day otherwise I would highly recommend the Bend Ale Trail!

    Bend Bound

10 Barrel is a must I really liked Crux Fermentation Project when I was there a few months back. They had only been open for a month but it was funded by Deschutes and it is one of their brewmasters' places IIRC. Boneyard can be a quick stop as they typically only have a beer or two on tap and...

    Growlers!

SWMBO allows me to leave mine on the ledge because nothing else will go up there :). When we buy our own place in a few years she says they all have to go in the garage :(

    Growlers!

I've only got a few out of state. Haven't traveled much lately. Looks like you have a pretty good collection going though! About the same size as mine (give or take a few)

    Growlers!

For a little over a year I have been collecting a growler at every new brewery/brewpub I go to. Does anybody else do this? Here is a picture from a few months ago. I've probably got 10 more or so since then. Ill post an updated picture when I get a chance. Post some pictures of your collection...
  16. Anybody else collect growlers?

    Anybody else collect growlers?

I began collecting growlers for each new brewpub I visit a little over a year ago. Wondering if anybody else does? Attached is a picture from a couple month ago. I've probably got about 10 more since then. Ill upload an updated picture of all of them.

Advice for a brewer who doesn't drink

I would skip hooters go straight to Rogue, or just about any other brewpub in Portland. There's no shortage of selection and most of them have fantastic food. Rogue has fantastic food IMO but it can be a little spendy. Couple of my favorites are Breakside Brewpub and Alameda Brewhouse...

    Calling all Scotch drinkers...

+1 to Aberlour, The Macallan and I, too, have Glenlivet 18yo as my usual go-to. I also keep some Dewars 12 year around because that's my father in law's go-to.
