I get a cat urine smell when it's young. That fades after a little time. I've brewed this twice now and would say it gets much better with a little age. I bottle and after a month and a couple weeks in the fridge, I'm getting mango.

I just picked up some very fresh Zombie Dust about 10 days ago. I'm not sure how fresh it was the first time I had it, but this new batch didn't seem to have the same sweetness/malty balance as the first one I tried. I love it though. I would say my first batch was darn close to the real thing...

Me either, but that's ok! Not a huge fan of Belgian IPAs.

Got mine bottled today, along with an Alpha King clone. 100 bottles capped + stripping labels off of another 30 or so, sure made for a long day. I think I'm about ready to start kegging after that.

This is my hydrometer sample. I'll be dry hopping tomorrow. I used pellet hops this go around and WLP002. Can't believe how clear it is now. I can already tell this is going to be much better than my 1st attempt (which was pretty awesome)!

Brewing my second batch of this on Tuesday, along with an Alpha King clone. It will probably be my last chance to brew until fall. Way too many projects to do : (

Any idea what WLP004 Irish Ale yeast would do to this?

I actually just had one bottle given to me by a friend that owns a bar. I told her I had brewed a clone recipe of it. Another customer brought in a sixer one day and she talked him out of a bottle to give to me. I plan on going to the brewpub to get some eventually. It seems to be kind of hit...

I look forward to hearing how it turns out with those changes. Next time I try this it might be BIAB. Slowly making my way towards all grain, but I am really happy with how my last three PM batches turned out.

I finally got my mitts on a bottle of Zombie Dust to compare my clone to! I used skeezer's PM recipe with WLP San Diego Super yeast. I was amazed how close it was to the original. Though it doesn't look like it in the first pic, mine (on the left in both pics) was just a tad darker. I would say...
