What I did for beer today

That sounds like a discontinued Dogfish beer that I'd really like to try brewing. Would you be willing to share the recipe?

What I did for beer today

Took a gravity reading, confirmed I could bottle instead of leaving the beer sitting on the dry hop charge, bottled, cleaned. What I did for beer today

Took FG reading. Nottingham did the job : 1.004 two days in a row. Looks like 5.3%, right on point for a BPA. And from the taste of the gravity samples, dry hopping really does make a difference.

So what do you seek in a cup?

I drink pretty much everything out of Weyerbacher tulip glasses. They're versatile, work well for ales, porters, lagers. Oktoberfests from a Sam Adams mug.

Bottling question after first dry hop

This latest BPA brewed on 4/12 is the first time I've dry hopped a beer. I have the option of bottling it Saturday, 4/19, after a week, or Sunday 5/4, after 3 weeks. Will leaving the wort sit w the dry hop charge prove detrimental? Or not? Thanks to anyone willing to offer input

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Titanic BPA today, (hopefully) the last entry in my 2025 Shipwreck series. Just mashing now, the iceberg is waiting for me somewhere in the next four hours, somewhere between First Gold at flameout and pitching the Nottingham.

    Substitute for Buckwheat in DIPA?

I've used Deer Creek buckwheat in Oktoberfest and porter recipes - price is good, and quality seems to be as well.

Wookey Jack. Behr Brewing Side Pocket. First requires no elaboration; second is Cape May NJ local. Both delicious.
