I've never used a mash tun back when i did partial brewing i had the grains in a bag and steeped them first before adding LME. and my all grain kit only consists of a single kettle, mash tun, fermenter, racking and bottling equipment. hope this helps Cheers

I think you should be fine. I switched over to plastic a couple years ago. super cheap and the bottles are indestructible.

Thats good! I've never had any trouble with freezing my wet hops but then again I am nowhere near an expert cheers!

Hey Guys Cleaning out my grain freezer today and found I've got about 12lbs of 2 row and 1lb of otter for hops I have a couple lbs of garden wet cascades. Think I can make something good?

my kettle is 14" even. and my OG was 1052 where the recipe called for 1057 is there any room for adding water or should i just accept a small second batch much thanks

Hello Guys! Did my second all grain batch yesterday an american amber. and I noticed a huge loss from my pre boil vol of 6.5 gal down to a post boil of 4 gal. my first batch I didn't lose very much volume perhaps about 1 gallon at most. do you guys know what I did wrong? Thanks
