    Length of Time for Fermenting

The extra time in the primary gives the yeast time to 'clean up' it will reduce the off flavors, plus a lot of us are not racking to a secondary. I sometimes do 1,2,3 but my past 2 brews were only in a primary (2 weeks) to the keg for a bit of conditioning.

    Cleaning Cobra Taps?

Nope, it shouldn't Think of how long those bottles of soda sit in a werhouse / supermarket shelves, besides you can go back and hit them with gas to add some bubbles! Im actually goung to use the bottles for small batches of beer / soda That way Im not wasting a 5gal keg for only 1gal :mug:

    Cleaning Cobra Taps?

I just picked up a carbonator cap for cleaning / sanatizing lines. Just fill a 2l soda bottle with your favorite cleaner and invert the bottle, open the tap. Do the same for sanitizer. Plus then youll have a good way to transport brews to partys ect.

    Nitro style pour using argon

How would a tank of C25 (25%co2/75%argon) work with this? I understand that you need the co2 anyway. I have a tank of C25 for my mig, also a tank of 100% argon for tig, and I have a batch of oatmeal stout I brewed yesterday. This would be great to use gas I already have. Thanks for the...

    Quick and dirty Pumpkin Ale

That's a pretty neat idea. I think Ill try it tonight. I have some spices left over from my brewed pumpkin ale (which really did not come out that good, as far as a pumpkin ale) On a side note... last night I picked up Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale, it is fantastic, much better than Saranac IMO.

    Water Treatmant Station?

I use straight well (filtered) water. Some people use RO (reverse osmosis) systems. I have been thinking of running my water through a carbon filter, but I have no gripes with the taste of any of my beers.

Will releasing the CO2 pressure in my cornie scrub away the hop aroma?

I couldn't see the aroma "escaping" but that's just my opinion. I don't know the scientific-s behind it.

Not trying to sound arrogant but...

Did my first batch as an extract, then each successive was AG. I like building and tweeking things, so I felt AG was for me. You can build many AG things on a budget. There are so many project threads around. In fact I just bought a 1/2 keg today for a keggle, and I already have intentions...
