    I am thinking of get a vial of yeast wlp 500 and make 2000ml starter using a stir plate for bottle condidtion yeast. I wanted to know how much starter should I make per 5 gallon batch.

    Why add a chemical thou? Everyone on here has murder yeast several ways:cross: How about raising the temp or lowering? It wont affect the taste because the yeast would dead.

    I use propane as well. However I use it from the 100lbs tanks because the 20's freeze up.
