    Beer line length

The thing is I don't want a trade off situation. I will build that once and I'll build it right. How can I make this vertical run keeping the right carbonation level? I don't know if there is another way, but I could also use beergas (25/75) which is available nearby. I tried a few line...

    Beer line length

I saw only 1/4 lines. I guess I will end up building my own trunk line. I don't want to have 4 37 feet lines to go up 8'. :-) Would a 3/16 line be too long...lets say about 12 feet?

    Beer line length

Hi, I will use a glycol cooled beer line from basement to kitchen. I wanna use this trunk line (1/4 beer lines). The difference in height will be 8’. I plan to use 15’ from keg to shank. Will that be enough? Thanks

How to survive the US as an bavarian immigrant without Augustiner Helles on Tap?

I feel with you. I immigrated from Austria to Canada, finding me in the same situation. - I built a wood fired oven - I built a steam sauna - and now I'm brewing beer! :drunk:

    Water on Mars!

I was sure that they will find water on Mars. I would only have been surprised if they would have found beer on Mars. ;)

I guess this will do it, right?

    Regulator advice

Hi, I will build a keezer with 4 kegs. I want to force carbonation without disconnecting or changing the pressure for the kegs in the keezer while I force carb one keg. Which kind of regulator or setup would I need ( I will have one CO2 cylinder)? Thanks,

    8’ beer line maintenance question

Yeah, CO2. I wanna have as less work as possible. :-) I don't want to have to shut down CO2 or anything. The system should be functional all the time (you never know when you need a glass). So I guess I would only have to flush the line if I empty one keg and not connecting another right away...

    8’ beer line maintenance question

Hi, I’m gathering information for the moment but I want to have my kegs in the basement and run the beer lines to my kitchen. I will have around 8’ to cover. I’m aware that I need to cool the lines and I will go with a glycol (or salt water) solution. I would like to know how much...

DIPA hop schedule with leftover hops

So, I wanted to share the outcome. I finally waited to get some more hops but I was sticking a little to my original recipe. It came out very good. Strong head which stays forever if the glass is clean. Very tasty and easy to drink. I left the hops in the kettle (hop bag) for 10 minutes...

Amount of corn sugar - Beersmith vs Brewersfriend

So no danger in getting bottle bombs? How much corn sugar can you add without getting bottle bombs. I'm just wondering for security reasons.

Amount of corn sugar - Beersmith vs Brewersfriend

Hi, I was wondering why BS is is always giving me a much lower amount of priming sugar as all other resources on the net. Here is one example... Who should I trust? Thanks,

7’ beer line from basement to kitchen

Something like the below should work to blow air trough the tube. Anyone doing this successfully to cool lines? http://www.amazon.com/Marine-Electric-Bilge-Blower-130cfm/dp/B00F7ANK7S

7’ beer line from basement to kitchen

This could be one option, but 2 well insulated tubes? That will be at least 6'' each tube. I will have trouble to fit that into the walls. :-) What about that: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=271578 The salt water and aquarium pump seems also a good idea. On the other side blowing...

7’ beer line from basement to kitchen

And if I cool the kegs a little more to compensate the temperature lost? I will also insulate the beer lines very well.
