    Hi from Montreal

My favorite online shop is: http://www.everwoodavebrewshop.com/ 10$ flat rate shipping. Dave is very helpful...questions, special requests, he will help you out! Another shop I like is: http://www.ontariobeerkegs.com/ Just compare prices, Dave is cheaper for most stuff. You can buy...

    DIPA recipe review

Thanks for the comments. I've noticed that taking the honey malt and munich malt out is definitely changing the character of the beer. Every malt is different and 10% of crystal will not result in the same as 3% munich, 3% crystal and 3% honey.

Bourbon Barrel Porter - To Nitro or Not to Nitro?

Why not on beergas? What would speak against it (if the stout tap is available)?

Best way to get rid of the yeast in finished beer?

I react to all, its just a question of more or less. I start filtering on the next batches and see how that helps.

    Looking For Some Nitro Clarity

I use a 75/25 Nitro/C02 blend (beergas) to push thru the nitro faucet. I usually carb up with 100% CO2 @ 8 psi. When ready to serve, I hook it up to beergas @ 25 psi. Line length is not too important, at least if its not very short, or very long. I have 9' up to the kitchen.

HB shop fail - How long would you use milled grains?

I wanted to wait until it has been settled. I’ve got the shipment of 4 bags as promised. I’m happy about the prompt solution. Mout International made it right without hesitating. :)
