I thought gangsta rap was dead.

Is gangsta rap dead or did all the gangsta rappers die? Either way...who cares?

    FAST bottling!

I use this setup too. There's no splashing.

I'm glad they changed the label ;).

    DUI's and you

Issues with Midwest Supplies Extract kits?

I like their kits. The only thing I wish I could change is using dry extract instead of the liquid.

    Kudos to Midwest Supplies

I only use Midwest...and the local/overpriced place when in a bind. Their customer support has been phenomenal and I've used them a bunch of times.

Yeah I saw that...that's some crazy hail!!!

Snapped the tip of the plant...am I doomed?

I just wanted to ask again since I saw somebody once made it sound like cutting the top off of a bine would trigger Armageddon :). I figured hops were just like any other plant and would adjust.

    Bayou Burners

One more positive comment for Bayou Burners. The thing boils 6 gallons of water in no time.

Where to get one Gallon Glass Jugs

+1 for Carlo Rossi. Drink it fast though or it'll turn to vinegar.

Snapped the tip of the plant...am I doomed?

Thanks for the support guys. I'm not expecting much from the first year hops, but would like to get at least a handful of some fresh Hallertau!

Snapped the tip of the plant...am I doomed?

I noticed yesterday that the bine on one of my plants (1st year) "untrained" itself and was not crawling upward. In my effort to untangle and retrain it, I snapped the tip of it by mistake...about 3 inches. I've read that it's not good to snip the tops, so am I screwed? Will my plant recover...

    Music To work to??

haha...I like listening to the sound of the propane burning in the Bayou Classic or whatever the thing is called. The "whoosh" sound and rolling water is music to my ears. The smell just takes things to the next level.

    Music To work to??

Anything so obscure that nobody else knows about it.

    Belgium Blonde w/ Coriander

Go with what the recipe calls for. If you think it could use more coriander, then try crushing it next time around. If it's still not enough, add a second ounce the next time you brew. It's all trial and error. I used two ounces (or tbs?...don't remember) last time and to me, it's a little too...

    Hops Heads

Where do you store 60 pounds of hops?!

    Belgium Blonde w/ Coriander

I think you're supposed to crack the seeds a bit before adding them, like mentioned above. I too put them in a coffee grinder and gave them a little grind (not powder) so the wort can really extract the flavors.

    Why do people love clones?

I don't think my tone is the problem. Only you and two others have taken issue with this thread. Those who didn't falsely read in to the tonality of my original post, responded with points that I have found to be very interesting and as I stated earlier, have convinced me to give a clone a try...

    Why do people love clones?

Funny how the guy who calls me an elitist troll is the ****** who's stirring up trouble and bashing people's opinions. Go build up your post count somewhere else, loser. As somebody above mentioned, it was a legit question. I'm not making fun of people for brewing clones...just sparking...
