    Troubleshooting help

Set the meter to the "OHM" function, and check the flow between the two screw connectors of the element: If there is a positive reading, then the circuit is "closed" and the element is fine; if there is no reading, the circuit is "open" and a new element is needed. Also, if you get a reading on...

P-J, The switches are Cutler-Hammer stack type and I can easily change the contact blocks to make a DPST. I do not have an exact link to them as they are older New Old Stock switches, however they are similar to this switch. http://www.automationdirect.com/static/specs/eaton30mm2select.pdf

    Wiring Diagrams

P-J, Thanks for the fast reply with the questions for clarification. Some of the components may be a little different from the typical because I had most of them readily available from previous projects. The only items I had to buy were the PID's, RTD thermocouples & the GFI spa panel. I...

Just got the new "Cereal Killer" Grain Mill

Glad that you are getting it rolling as it should. These bearings are sealed and really should not need any lubrication. If you still have any concern, contact the vendor and I bet they will quickly send you a replacement bearing. Happy Milling!!!!!

    Wiring Diagrams

I have been searching through threads & posts for the vast amount of wiring diagrams. The majority of them are generated by P-J who provides a very clear picture for the entire panel and associated wire. Is there a way to search only for the wiring diagrams that are available with out looking...

Just got the new "Cereal Killer" Grain Mill

End play is the movement from side to side for each roller. If I was heading over your way soon, I'd sure stop by to take a look. I spend some time in Columbus from time to time for work.... AEP. Don't hold that against me! Can you do a video of the operation?

Just got the new "Cereal Killer" Grain Mill

I just ran a pound through mine to try to see what may be happening to yours. Mine works slick as a whistle. Again a few questions: Have you checked the gap with feeler gauges? Does both of the rollers have at least .005" end play? Have you tried to mill in reverse of your initial try?

Just got the new "Cereal Killer" Grain Mill

My 'Killer will even take a tight .020" gap and provide some very, very fine milled grain... almost like flour. If the rollers spin freely and the gap is set correctly, I could only figure that the rollers are spinning in reverse. The weight in the hopper is not important either-- it should...

Just got the new "Cereal Killer" Grain Mill

That is unusual. Mine works like a charm set at .035". A few questions to help diagnose: Do the rollers spin freely when you turn them with your finger? Is the gap set evenly from end to end? Is your drill turning in the correct direction? And don't apologize for posting here--we like to...

    One Barrel Brewery

Enjoy that little man--you will have plenty of time to brew as he grows. There's nothing like brewing a batch with my three sons! And my youngest "little man" is 6'5"!!! They don't stay little for long! + CoalCracker---you are doing a great job!

    "Cereal Killer" grain mill

I milled grain twice with the CK. It was easy to set at .035" and produced a very consistent crush. For $89, a better deal can not be found.

Any updates on how the Chuggers are performing?

Just got the new "Cereal Killer" Grain Mill

You don't have to remove the "blades." Just take 2 that total up to .035" slide them in between the rollers, push the rollers together and you will have the perfect gap. Make sure that you use the gauge on each end of the rollers as you adjust. BTW--.035" is the perfect gap for this mill!

I just received my RO system from Air, Water N Ice with a 20 gallon pressure tank. I would like to see how some of you brewing masters have installed you RO systems. How about posting some pictures of your RO set ups? Thanks!
