This week while in Reston, VA for work. Dominion Beer & Wine, dinner with the boss one night, Aslin and Commonwealth the last two nights while enjoying some beers I brought down back at the hotel with my friend/coworker. 🍻

Finally had the time and nice weather to string up my chinook hops. Some are already 6 feet tall.

For research. My homemade limoncello with pomegranate & blueberry juice with some mint leaves from our mint plant. Thanks @TwistedGray that plant comes back every year! This might be dangerous for next weekend as we are away for a basketball tournament. 🤤

Saturday I roasted five different beans each 1.1 pounds. Sumatra, Peru & Rwanda beans from Showroom Coffee. The other two were the Primos Coffee beans which two different varieties from their Nicaragua farm. From @MaxStout previous post, 1.5 + 5.5 + 90.02 = 97.02

These while making dinner. I might have to follow @TheDudeLebowski and have a can of Trilliums Detachable Face. 🍻

Did a sous vide method of limoncello last night. Today I strained it and mixed in the simple syrup mix I made. Then coffee roasting time.

Thanks! My wife, kids and their friends love my pizzas. The trick is brushing some oil on the crush and seasoning it. It makes the end of a slice like a tasty seasoned breadstick. Definitely smuggle in some of that high octane everclear. 🤣

These today with my father in law before my oldest goes off to prom with her boyfriend. He’s a good kid, but man does this make me feel old. She’s only a freshman. 😢 She’s happy and excited so that’s all that matters.
