That would be St Helens and Spirit Lake which is now completely destroyed after the eruptions. I'm not old enough to have seen it like that but I'm familiar with photos. It was one of the most beautiful lakes in the Cascade mountains. This is pretty much what it looked like when I saw it in 2002.

Actually no. It's weird, but I was looking at the photo for clues and saw the "RT" on the sign and immediately the name popped in my head, and I though what the heck I'll just google it before I fall aleep. The very first photo that popped up was of that sign :)
