    I have a 6 month old Brett B Belgian Saison that I'd like to Bottle. I am concerned about having bottle bombs for obvious reasons. And advice for me? Should I shoot on the low side of carbonation? 2.0? 2.3? Standard bottles ok?

    Also from what I have read, it is commonly reccomended to remove roughly 80% of mosture. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but this is my understanding.

    Vacuumed hops: freeze?

    Cant hurt to freeze them and retain as much "goodness" as possible. Probably wont hurt to just throw them in the fridge either, considering it is only a week or so. Report back on your dry hop results.

    1st of all you dont want to dry them in the sun. With 3.5 ounces wet, I would multiply that by .2 to give you .7 Your final amount of .6 seems about right.

    Want to start growing my own

    Good Soil(add manure and compost), Lots of sun 6-10 hours per day, Some type of support stsyem to allow bines to reach 12-20 feet. Great Lakes Hops also sells "starter plants" rather than rizomes. Im not an expert but I did harverst 10 pounds wet from my first year plants. :)

    My cascade hops need some info

    I have undeveloped Zeus cones that have very similar browning. I know for a fact that they are not ready to be harvested. I email Great Lakes Hops (where I bought it) I will report back with what they recommend once they email me back.
