    O-ring Question.

I've used them also. Although I tend to buy too many. Do a search on their website for S70013. I've used these and they work fine.

What would you do? Keg transfer help.

What would I do? Borrow a tank from a friend.

    Mash paddle decision

Here's my mash paddle. Made out of cherry. I was afraid I made the handle too narrow, but it's 12 years old so I guess I'm okay. This one came from half the board so I could make another.

    What is "Alt" beer

The article says they Röstmalz which is roasted malt. That's mostly where the color comes from. How do you "fail to see how"?

    Dough In- Devices and techniques?

I started underletting last year but I still get doughballs. Maybe I need to slow it down.

    First Biere de Garde

It was Belgian and French Ales. It was a few years ago (2019).

    First Biere de Garde

I brewed a Bier de Garde once with 1007 and it took first place in the Belgian Ales category at a large competition.

Any chance the seller would help you out with your first brew?

    Ball and Keg Level indicator

True, except I would need 14 sets of magnets. :)

    Ball and Keg Level indicator

The only drawback I see is that I purge my kegs before filling and this wouldn't allow that.

What to do with (probably) the last Anchor Steam I'll ever have?

While I do have a couple of fond memories of drinking Anchor Steam, I thought about going out and trying to find some when they made the announcement. In the end, I didn't bother.

    Why do people Quit brewing?

I always said that I wanted to win a medal at NHC and I would stop entering competitions. I did that in 2019 and have only entered my club competitions since then.

    Back To Basics

When I went to electric, I just wanted to replicate what I was doing before. I did add an HLT and pumps so I wouldn't have to collect wort in a bucket any longer. No RIMS, no herms. The only thing different from what I was doing before is better temperature control when I'm heating...

Beer things to do in Paris

We went to Paris in 2019. We found options for good beer while we were there. You'd be better off researching this question on Beer Advocate than here. https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/forums/france.113/

    Stacking fermenters?

I replaced the orings that come from SSBrewTech with thicker ones and haven't had any issues since (and it's been years). Even before that, if you're careful, they don't leak.
  18. Spartan1979

    Stacking fermenters?

I've seen pictures of SSBrewtech's BrewBucket being stacked, but I've never done it myself.
