I once brewed a Doppelbock and I had more issues during the brew day than I normally have in a year (to be fair I was also trying to watch a football game at the same time). I ended up calling that beer Exasperator.

I've only used rye malt twice. The beer had 18.6% rye malt and I just did a single infusion and it came out fine.

We were at the Kierstbier Fest in Essen, Belgium on Sunday. I believe the only requirements were that the beer had to be a seasonal release an it had to be brewed in Belgium. The beers were all over the board but most were pretty good. We had great time!
