If you top off a partial boil, you have to stir alot to get it 100% mixed. Also remember hydrometer readings are going to be slightly off depending on temperature. The instructions that came with it should explain how to correct for temp.

Has anyone used an old milk jug to store their diluted Star san before? Or mabye just add it to the jug of distilled water? I'm concerned it will somehow eat the type of plastic typically used in milk jugs. I will be making a spray bottle of it as well, I just don't need alot of it.
