Added 8oz of makers mark soaked oak cubes to a dark ale and let it sit too long... I still have a case that I figure I will try a bottle out of a couple years from now lol.
Made this last Saturday, scaled to a 10 gallon recipe and it was too much for my stainless braid to handle, collapsed it and caused a stuck sparge. After 7 hours of draining I finally had about 6.5g so I boiled... Imperial pumpkin anyone? :-)
Bottom bucket collection bin, middle bucket contains the mill, on the top I've cut the bottom out of a 5 gallon water bottle to funnel the grain into the mill. I'm currently using the cordless 18v Dewalt drill but I'm either going to motorize it or get a corded 1/2" drill to do the work.
Say you're trying to do it around 2pm? I can be there a little earlier than that if possible. I work in Millersville, get off around 11am, it would take me roughly 45mins to get to Takoma Park. If not I will have to wait until one day this coming week to get over there.
Did it work for you Bullet? I'm running into the same issue with a bg14 that I was gifted. Picked up a 20psi regulator that came with the 1/4" but that is too small.
