    Great Lakes Hops

My magnum and goldings are going wild, at the top of my 15' lines and throwing off side arms galore. My cascade, fuggles, nugget and glacier seem to have stalled at about 6'.

    Hops Wilting/Browning/Crisping

    Great Lakes Hops

Probably transplant shock if I were to guess. Keep the soil moist but not too wet and give it a few days. Hopefully they spring back and the bines start climbing.

    Bottles drying

This may be a dumb question... but doesn't rinsing after sanitizing defeat the purpose? I've used Starsan with the vinator since the beginning with great success, I use PBW to clean my bottles prior to sanitizing. On another note, don't confuse cleaning and sanitizing, they're two different...

    How deep to plant crowns?

I planted mine deep enough to where the shoot base was level with the surrounding ground. It took them about 3 weeks to start showing significant growth but now they're going to town at about 3" per day.

    Great Lakes Hops

I'm using sisal bailing twine, it's what I use for my lima beans, figured it would be strong enough for this as well.
