    frozen beer won't re-carbonate?

Just had the same thing, wouldn't have believed it until I experienced it first hand. Keg got frozen by a fridge set too cold, now it won't carbonate at all. I've had 3 attempts at high pressure for 24 hours force carbonation (my standard technique that never fails), and it's also been on...

    Hydro vs refractometer

I'll see if I can state this a bit more simply: use a refractometer before any alcohol has been created; use a hydrometer after any alcohol has been created. Any refractometer reading taken with a sample that has alcohol in it will need to be run through an additional calculation.

SS QD vs Camlock (if price doesnt matter)

I'm going to swim against the tide here and say: QDs all day every day. Can't stand camlocks, fiddly and two handed. I have two breweries, one shared with friends that has camlocks, the other at home with QDs. No question, QDs are easier to use.

Seeking help with New EBIAB Wiring

Looks like you're intending your hot bus to be able to handle high current loads? Personally I would avoid that, and take the big red wire out of the main power relay directly into the element relay. Then run a separate smaller red off the main power relay into the hot bus. Put a 7A fast blow...

Test run/shock felt when touching kettle

I wouldn't touch it again until you've had a registered electrician check things out. It's not worth your life.

    Auber SWA-24x1

I bought one on the strength of that product description. Burned. Also, it seems to me the ability to turn on heating after timer has run is an obvious function. The way the new description reads to me suggests timer functions 1 and 3 are the same. Confusing as heck that Auber product info.
