Agreed....Outside of the Cornys, Guinness bottles are what I use as well. I'm not much of a stout drinker, so I had to convince a friend to drink 10 dozen or so, so I could have the bottles...... IGOR

Well....I don't know. I do know that in a couple of the cornys I have the liquid tube curls toward the centre of the corny at the base, so would only get about half my brew out before the bottom would run dry. Just keep the gas inlet on the up side I guess, so you don't foam your brew...

You should ask them about writing used on the product information. If I understand correctly, you shouldn't get duty charges for used materials...Only for new items.....So if customs believes the units are new they may charge you....etc. etc........blah, blah, blah.... IGOR

Here in Fredericton I went to the local Cash and Carry, which is a warehouse for retailer to buy candy, pop etc.... I stopped in and asked about the empty returned Kegs...Since they were empty they charged me the deposit price for them.........$10. NICE IGOR

When I do bottle, I use guinness bottles, but I've taken the widget out. I've noticed when taking them out that there tends to be a small amount of brew in them. This small amount may affect your taste. My recommendatin is to take them out, then sanitize the bottle. Very simple to do...

I still can not understand why you would want to over carbonate and drink it pretty much immediately. We all know that the longer a beer sits the better it become, so why rush it. If you're in such a hurry to get into the new keg, then you are not brewing enough!! IGOR

Only that you are adding oxygen to the beer, but if you drink it fast enough I can see it being a problem> Just to be sure, I would only pump while the tap is open, so you don't build up to much pressure. I can't see that happening as long as you don't go crazy with the pumping. IGOR

If you in that big of a rush to drink beer than go buy the crap at the store!! Homebrew requires time!!! If you drink it early it will taste like beer but not very good beer....and good beer is the point!!!! IGOR
