I came across these awesome floats that were multi level, I thought those could be cool to use in HLT but wiring it up could be a disaster... I dont know.

Can these be used in the middle of the kettle or do they have to be used at the top? I was looking for something to auto shut off pumps..... Any ideas?

I have been watching your builds. I feel like I would have to be a genius to build PLC based. I think I have a grasp of what I need part wise... But I want a bit of direction on wiring.

This is what I am trying to do. Since my house is about to be totally rewired within the next year, I am going to have it so I can add in a 50A breaker. Installing the breaker is the easy part, Making the panel for me is the hardest part.

I keep looking around and I am having a hard time looking for good 50A Panels. I want to make a future proof panel. Also, I am sure there are others that are interested. I know EBrewSupply has a "kit" for a 50A bcs-462 Module. Has anyone made a good 50A panel for OSCS's OpenTroller DX1...

I feel like it is just a scam when they sell the breaker for more! I saw on ebay where a guy bought a spa panel just to get the breaker and was selling the rest!:mad:

The 60A panel has 4 slots.

Quick question regarding automation. If i would want to fully automate the system... Which one is better.. Brewtroller or BCS? Also, what about if you want control from a living room or such? I keep seeing different opinions between the two!!!

So, I read somewhere about people using 60A spa panel with gfci then putting a 50A breaker in their main panel. That way the spa panel is future proof. Since 10/4 wire is maxed out at 30A, someone was suggesting to use 6/4 SOOW wire. Is that the recommended wire for a 240V 60A panel? If so does...
