    brewing in the snow

lol that was me yesterday trying out my new burner that I quite literately stuck into a snow drift to set up. Should have taken a pick. Took me just as long to get to get a 5g boil as it did to get 3.5g on the stove before... Think that had something to do with the cold blowing wind? :D I'm not...

BC style pale ale - Your thoughts and advise please

Yup we are for real. Have been in business for 10 years as of Aug 2012. The mark up on furniture on stores is insane. We only stock what moves fast, the rest we drop ship that's why we can do it so cheap. If you mention you found the site through the Washooo Pale Ale post and your user name I...

BC style pale ale - Your thoughts and advise please

Washooo Pale Ale was a hug hit! The first keg was dead in 2 hours! The second was pretty much dead by midnight (about 3 hours for that one). Sorry the only pics I managed to get are in those classy red solo cups (but you can see colour and clarity in the hydro sample anyway). Those beers in the...

    Co2 leak... Have a question.

If you haven't had this issue before the culprit is probably one of the things that get undone the most often: - the regulator nut/seal (this is the biggest one, and unless you have one that uses rubber orings it can be very difficult to get a good seal, also I notice when I put the tank/reg in...

Bottling from keg gassing with co2

BMBF = Bier Muncher Bottle Filler as in we don't need no stinking beer gun (see link above). They work very well and are so simple that you can figure out the construction just by looking at it. That's why he wont show anyone.
  14. DroolingNeoBrewery

    Screw it..Im moving up!

This may simply be a result of using fresh grains instead of all extract. Way more aroma with grain. my first partial mash went in a lbk to. The whole house smelled of honey malt and cascade hops until a few days after the krausen fell. even one with just chocolate malt steeped did that (whole...

Bottling from keg gassing with co2

well your determined to do it, so I guess all you can do now is build it and try :rockin:. Post picks I wanna see this thing. I guess it will be a long time before we know if it makes a difference

Highly doubt i will ever buy leaf hops again.

just place a bowl on the scale and zero it out (mine I just hit the on button again) the scale will read zero and you can add your hops to the bowl to weight them. This is how I weight grains I'm guessing you don't use grain yet? For clean up just use a large mesh bag to hold the hops (like the...
