That is the electric boom guy, he is really funny and a great resource to learn about electricity. I really like his stuff.

I use a penny or dime and close the handle with them under the lever feet. Little tricky to do, but seals my leaky kegs

That is wrong. Worms can live in water. They come out when it rains bc they can, the outside world is wet enough for them to survive. The more you know.

Which mesh size for hop spider?

I use around a 550 for my spider. I also use a electric brewery hop stopper. The combo works well for me. I used 28oz of hops last week, 2/3 in spider 1/3 in kettle. Flow was a little slow, but super clean wort

    Long mash

Nope, did one Friday night, did not get to brewing till 1:30 the next day, mash was still 145. Insulation is key. My mashed are a little more gummy, but I did use 10 lbs of flaked grains Btw, I am not a purest GF brewer, I use clarity ferm, so a gluten reduced brewer

    Long mash

I do it all the time now. I use full volume no sparge mash and let it sit overnight, only lose 10 degs in 8 hours. I wrap mash with reflectix and 4 comforters

Pull Through (dimpled) TC Ferrules for Soldering Prototype Stuff

I know when I pulled 1/2" there was significant difference in difficulty between the m/m pull through fitting and the m/f pull through fitting which had different diameters. I got a spare lid, may order a 42mm and try it out.

Pull Through (dimpled) TC Ferrules for Soldering Prototype Stuff

Have you tried a 42 mm bit? Might be the happy medium. That is about 1.65. Found them on ali Express, look to be about the same as your tungsten bits.

Just built a 25 gallon electric pot. Time to finally retire my keggles. Got 8 years out of them. Silver soldered in the fittings, and etched volume markers.
