    How long can I go??

I am putting in a keezer and want to run beer lines from the keezer to behind my bar in the basement. How long can I run my lines safely-ie sanitation, foam etc....My ideal length to do project would be around 8-10 feet exposed outside keezer? Is this possible? I know the first glass of every...

American Light Lager, BUT with am ale yeast?

Is 45 degrees too cold for lager yeast? What is the coldest a lager can ferment.

American Light Lager, BUT with am ale yeast?

What would this do to the flavor of the beer. This beer is for my neighbor's wife who only likes Corona or Miller Lite. I really don't have the time or energy to do a lager right now. What if I used an ale yeast or used a lager yeast at 70 degrees. What will this do to the brew?

    Pumpkin Ale minus the Pumpkin?

I made a pumpkin ale today and baked 3 cans of pumpkin and added it to the boil. I read many posts and took the advice to ADD the pumpkin.

Same Batch: Two Kegs: Two Flavors??

I hope when I taste it tonight I can tell what's up with it. My first thought was bacteria in the keg...I've read Yooperbrew talk about that in other threads.

Same Batch: Two Kegs: Two Flavors??

Teamed up with a neighbor and brewed a cream ale. Kegged after 4 weeks and let condition a week. We split the brew (2.5gal each) into our own kegs. My brew is great! Nice creamy head and great flavor. Neighbor can hardly choke down half a glass. I'm going to taste it myself tonight, but he said...

    Filter into primary??

    I agree with Brasco20. I don't mind a hazy beer.

    Filter into primary??

I read that someone ALWAYS filtered their wort when pouring into primary? I never do this. Am I missing a step? I always leave it to hopefully add more flavor....What do you do???? PS- Drinking a glass of cream ale I kegged last week....very nice head and very good. :rockin:
