    What are you drinking now?

A ginger beer/dark ale hybrid. Did a little side project in just one bottle in case it didn't work out, fully fermented a ginger beer, drank half after maybe 4 weeks, then topped up with the dark ale which was ready for the bottle; recarbonated and wow. Only let down is the colour of it.. looks...

    just a thought

By overloading you're talking about what 1.5kg? (maybe 4-5oz). I really only use extract, figure I could use like breakfast oats and do a mini boil then transfusion? My pilsner was actually really creamy, that's why I ask

Nitroglycerine? Isn't that what people with weak hearts or something have to take? Or I might just be thinking of tnt. Either way, an explosion is adamant ;)

Now that, is funny. Nah I really don't like the happiness caused by three penises plus my mouth.. although I havnt tried it. And I'm really not tempted to. Was more after something really creamy, yet strong enough to be called the devils own... Hence the name there

    Head retention for coopers kit?

I've actually found the priming sugar plays a bigger part in coopers cans than the primary sugars added. Go for a less refined sugar, I would say a brown sugar but that would add flavour. Raw sugar? That gives a creamy texture too.. Coffee sugar would probably be the same, or close too...

I find beer is enough to keep me happy, probably why I want to get such a creamy one

    just a thought

Sitting here thinking and drinking, I thought back to ny creamiest brew to date, which made me think even more.. has anybody made a beer so creamy they decided to call it Satans orgasm, and if so how did that get achieved?

    Sulphor/Rotten Egg Smell

Is it a bad smell, or did you actually open it and get a nose burn from the carbon dioxide? Both have happened to me... The latter so much more though. Better send the entire batch to me though, just to be sure.

    different brew

This sounds awesome. Like the perfect refreshment! I'm actually surprised it was so clear after a week, most of mine take a fortnight or a little longer. Havnt actually began ag brewing yet, because I don't know where I can get the grains fresh in regional Australia.. extract style though, I...

    bottling mixed drinks

If you have plenty of money, go for it. Just in case it turns out like crap ya know... And let me know how it goes. The brides parents usually pay for the celebration anyway, so its all good! And let's face it, after a couple nobody is gonna know any different.. but congrats anyhow!

Found a backyard hop garden, how to approach?

Best idea of the lot, bloody oath! Best make sure not to use hemp ropes, the whole alphabetacannabinoid family thing might give it away.. use nylon, your hair and body skin DNA is less likely to stick! Especially if its a well manufactured rope. Or go for chains, they never let anyone down...

    different brew

Come now, I am! Even if just slightly ;) finished work a couple hours ago, so I feel the goodness this liquid bread is doing for me

    different brew

Well, I'm looking for something new. Something light and refreshing. Yet still thick and bodily. Not dark at all, although the opposite of water. Something about 5-5.5%. A good sesh beer, one which can be drunk at ease while telling stories of the time a shark bit my kneecap... Hey, that don't...

You know you're a home brewer when?

When you wake up in a cold sweat, either from having a nightmare thinking someone stole your beer and equipment.. "it was gonna be good, I just knew it!" or because you're worried it isn't going to be any better than the other 5 brews that are aging nicely, all which have been improvements, with...

    Drinking after 3rd shift

I do this when I'm working graveyard shifts, there's something enjoyable about having a beer at half seven in the morning, knowing you don't have work for the rest of the day.. at first it didn't seem right, then I figured I don't have the chance to have any at night.. so morning it is!
