First off I like the 5 O shades. I tried the OXY and still had to scrub gue off. So I soak bottels for about 5 min peel label and hit the gue with the steelwool, wipe with a towel and done. :cross: I will look into the steel scrubbie. I do hear ya on the dremel......!!

It is a brewers best IPA. It wasn't 6oz my bad, it was 2 0z of cascades at 6.75% and another 1oz at 3.5% I did a five gallon boil had to add 3/4 of a gallon of water. I would love it if it hit that high, but it would probally be way out of balance.

Just found the 120min for $7 a bottle and the 90min six packs for $8.

When I first started making wine a couple years ago(now beer) I bought 3 glass carboys and everyone of them cracked. My LBHS traded my out for 3 more and guess what they cracked, so they took those back and hooked me up with Better Bottles. SCREW GLASS they break and are dangerous.

I live in Louisville but do some work down in Glasgow and have not found anything in that area. I did find that the Liqueur Barns in Louisville sell grain, hops, kits, yeast and supply's and are about 15% cheaper than the beer and wine makers supply in Louisville. Might be worth a few phone...

I soak them in hot water, peel label and hit it with some 00 steel wool. Works great for me.

Hello also a noob, on my 3rd batch with nothing bottled yet.:( I live in Louisville, we have LBHS but found that Liquor Barns sell most things you need and about 10-15% cheaper than the LBHS. Might be worth a look around Owensboro. Anyways good luck and if you make towards the ville hit me up.

I had some 00 steel wool sitting around and it takes the glue off in seconds.
