    Picobrew + BrewPi Set up

Perfect. thank you. i have the 7 gal conical with the ftss. if the lids happen to be interchangeable, a mini may be in the very near future. it would seem, that unless you racked from the dump valve, too much beer would be wasted using the 7 gal unit. havent tried to solve for that in...

    PicoBrew Zymatic

it seems many of the recipes call for starting water volumes just over 3.5 gal. How do you use the mini in place of the keg? And did you add corny fittings to the mini or make connection another way? thanks, Mark

    Mancan growler?

Very high "cool" factor for that ^^^ setup. I like the picnic tap as it allows me to bury growler/mini-keg in the back and still have easy dispense access.

    Mancan growler?

I can tell you from direct experience that the serving line length is not an issue. I started with a Tap-a-Draft with no serving line at all and no control over pressure. It produced foam most of the time. I then bought a growltap which has the short length of serving line. It did not however...

    New? BIAB setup from Stout

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I currently have a first gen Brew-Boss and use the W bag. I'd like to step up to welded TC fittings and a hard basket. If I have to use a bag as well, I'm right where I am today. I think one of the Stout kettles with a Utahdiesel or Colorado Brewing...

    New? BIAB setup from Stout

Was cruzing the beer related web sites and came upon this: http://conical-fermenter.com/BK18TW-TI-EL1-BIB-104-18-gal-Brew-In-Bag-Kettle.html Except for the lack of a re-circulation port in the kettle and the thermometer being through the lid, it looks really nice. My question though is...

    Keg beer headaches

I've gotten the same thing from certain bars. For me it is a sinus type headache and it can come from as little as two pints. I never get it from my own taps. I have always attributed it to dirty taps/lines. Sometimes I can predict it based on the taste of the beer. Has a slight stale...

    Brew Boss Systems

Hmmm, interesting option and certainly cheaper than a stainless screen bag. i've bought a bunch of hardware from them and have been very happy with all of it.

    Brew Boss Systems

I do this. I actually use the flexible line with multiple outlets and attach it to the lid exactly as you suggest. Du to the multiple openings, it doesn't work as a whirlpool arm. Since you use the basket, like I do, you are kind of stuck with the lid mount. The alternative is to mount to...

Paintball co2 tank & mini regulator

Yes, The 6L bottles I use have a rounded bottom and are designed to lay on their side. You just need to be sure the dip tube curves toward the side that is the bottom as it is on its side.
