With the blue barrels is use, I keep the grain in a plastic bag inside the barrel. The ones I have came from a pharmaceutical company and they get the items shipped to them the same way- in bags in the barrels

Works out to about 2.28 grams per cube. You may be able to get a small measure that will get you close
Just drop a sugar cube in each bottle and fill with beer. I normally make my batches a t 6-6.25 gal just so I can have some to bottle. That way I can do taste test at 3, 4 , 5 and 6 months to see if it gets better!
I have a spreadsheet that lets you plug in watts, gal, temps.... to get your boil time. But I can figure out how to upload it here. The upload file only wants photo files
Edit: got it
I took some pvc and made an extension from the top of fridge to bottom of bar top. Then just wrapped it about 4 times with reflex insulation
I have a pc fan in both to push cool air up the tower
Got my second barrel yesterday at ABS. It is just as nice as the first one. With the the AHA discount it was down to $99.99. But I also am a member of their rewards program and had $30 rewards. So $69.99!!
Woot!!
This pretty much what I do. I put zest and juice in a small jar with enough vodka to cover, let it set over night and pour in a bag and suspend it in the keg. Do it for my orange cream ale
Little help here please:
Trying to keg a root beer for my cousin. He can't have alcohol due to meds he takes so I plan to force carb it and do a cobra tap. I used 1 small bottle of the zaterans root beer extract and about 3 cups Splenda in a 1.6 gal keg. It is carbing now but so far it feels...
Jamie, one of the girls in our brew club, works there. She put me one to the side. In fact, just got home from her house. Club filled a 55 gal barrel a few months ago and we got our share back today.
!0 gallon of BCBS clone is a nice thing to have!!
