Do you need a 1 off Stainless part built for your system? Let's discuss it.

So on my Brewtech Chronical there is a small port about half the way up that is used to pull off samples. It works great because it is high enough up to be out of the crap at bottom but low enough to not get in the foam. It is great to get a sample to read gravity. https://goo.gl/images/pHpK1m...

Install 240 volt outlet and run extension cord 20+ feet to garage

If you do the cord, look at ones for RV campers. They are made to take a bit abuse

Would like to learn how to create my first recipe

Get BeerSmith, find a recipe, brew it. Taste it, have buddies taste it, then mess with it, lol. But do it one step at a time- change, a hop, change a yeast, change a malt. But have the taste it it after so you can compare

    Different taste

Yeah, my biggest problem is giving beer time to become great, lol I have a Irish red ale that I made in April of 21017. I kegged 5 gal and put 5 bottles back. Tried one today. Fu@% me flying!! so much better.

    New to kegerator

Most of the store made kegerators are set up to use ten commercial sanke kegs with the line provide. The problems arise when you home brew and use corny kegs...

    New to kegerator

Yeah but may have to burp a few times. The co2 is in the beer now and it will come out when the amount in headspace is less, but it can take time depending on how much is in beer. Burp it, wait a few hrs, pour a glass, keep at it till it pours close to what you want, put gas back on at 12 -ish PSI.

    Taking a break

Yeah, if me I would start with clean slate- Clean the crap out of everything, Sanistar everything, do it again, start with distilled water and fresh ingredients... Then change one thing at a time. Sounds like the water might be the problem, but rule out everything

    What is PBW made from?

Yeah the TSP/90 is a bitch to fine. Ace hardware has it sometimes or can order. Not sure how the non- 90 will affect a secpit system if you are on one.

    New to kegerator

I think the Coors is over carbed. Bleed the co2 off let it sit for a day or so off the gas then reattach the hose and see how it goes

$10 in-line regulators at manifold instead of multi-body regulator at CO2 tank?

Might run a bit more but I would think this will work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Taprite-Co2-T5261SN-Secondary-In-Line-Pressure-Regulator-1-4-Inlet-Outlet-NEW/222861308454?epid=2017225458&hash=item33e391b226:g:6SgAAOSwcOFWbgyn

    Bulk aging

I bulk age in kegs. I just hit it with a burst of co2 when I put it in and then just let it sit in basement at 66-70 degrees till I am ready for it. The yeast will do some cleaning up and give off some co2. When I am ready for it, force carb and give it a few days to Settle before I tap.
