    Two kegs dedicated to cleaning?

My system is: when a keg kicks, I take it off, open it, rinse out crud, fill with PBW/ water, put lid on it, put on empty line, flush line, drain line, let keg sit over night with PBW. I have a keg in rotation with Sani-star, put it on line and flush line, drain line, put next beer on tap. Next...

Maybe a way to cask a beer..

Andy, thanks for your input. I hope to get a small dorm size fridge and set it to about 53 deg f and put the tap in the door or just set so she can just open door to get to tap. As far as the sparkler part, she wants it the other way- low to no bubbles. As it is, she takes straw and beats the...

How to take a sample without letting in oxygen

Well, guess it depends on what you are making, Barlywine, stout, triple, ... if all you make is IPA... for some of us, young hoppy beers are.... well, young! I have beers that are 3 months in and still "green"

How to take a sample without letting in oxygen

Well, it depends... lol You can just wait till it is done, 2,3,4 weeks, what ever you think it is. But if you have plans for other than FG, you need to know where you are: Dry hopping, spundding, .... Some folks need more info.

    Keezer Collar Question

I don't see any problem, as long as you keep enough wood for strength. You could go with a 2x12 if you want. Add a layer of pink board inside. Make sure your beer lines are long enough. Beer on!

    Hazy Red IPA?

I kind of did one for our brew club contest. I called it a SEIPA- South East IPA, lol. It was hazy but strong pine flavor. I was ok, but picked up a soapy flavor when I took it to club meet, maybe from the growler. It had Apolla and Azacca hops, Melanoiden malt. came in at 6.8% and 64 IBU
