    My first label!

Version 2: :) rustang64, There really isn't a Mars connection. My (almost) 5 year old son has a toy named "Martian Matter" and on brewing day when a few of us were talking about what to name the beer, he piped up with "You should call it Martian Matter!" and we all sort of looked at each...

    Cooling wort question

I'm getting ready to brew a batch of beer using malt extracts (my 2nd brewing attempt) and had a question about chilling the wort after boiling. In Papazian's "The New Complete Joy of Home Brewing", I found a way of cooling wort that doesn't seem to require a wort chiller and I wanted to make...

Refrigerated Too Early - Fermentation Recoverable?

Thanks! :) Great to hear that they are not ruined! I've done exactly as you recommended and can't wait to give them a try in April!

Refrigerated Too Early - Fermentation Recoverable?

So, total newbie here. Please be kind. :) I stuck my first batch of freshly bottled Mr.Beer wheat beer directly into the refrigerator after bottling. I decided to try a bottle (after 7 days), the beer was totally flat. Since bottling from the kit, I've bought a little starter brewing kit...
