Yeah man, My wife rocks! She knows a Farm brewery is my ultimate goal and she is behind me all the way. I was a bit shocked myself when she gave me the green light on the project so I took it and ran full steam. As long as its done by memorial day weekend and doesn't interrupt family time I'm...

Thank You Sir! this thing is really starting to kick my ass. between this, my 3 month old, the yard work that is stacking up and the rhizomes setting in my fridge that need to be planted. I might be able to take a moment to breathe sometime in June.:drunk:

The Brewpub roof is coming together. You can see the bar overhang forming so you can enjoy a cold Homebrew out of the weather!

I didn't think about that. It would be a good way to kickstart the pool early in the season.

Today we water sealed top and bottom of the flooring boards (3/4 tongue & grove) and got it all nailed down. We also got a bunch of material moved out back. Saturday is BBQ Beer and Bluegrass at one of the local brewery so no work will be done then but I am rallying the troops for a shed wall...

here is my local code. I'm good to go. 4. POSTS: -Post can be set directly on the footing with tamped back-fill, enclosed in concrete below grade, or on top of a pier at grade with an approved post anchor. -Posts should be a minimum 4x4 lumber size. Recommend using 6x6 lumber size for posts...

The post are all just under 4' some as short as 3' and carriage bolted to a double beam. the post is buried 4"-8" more for aesthetics I don't like seeing the clip or a big ring of concrete. As far as new code lets just say I have good neighbors. ;)

The footings are roughly 16" around by 30"deep with 160lbs of concrete in each.

Footings are dug and filled about 4"-8" shy from the top with concrete then the post sets on top with the fill tamped back in around the Post.

Got another good work day in. The brew shed platform is all framed up. And I'm dead. It looks like rain for the next two days so I'll get a bit of a break. Next up is shed flooring and raising walls.

It may not look like much but we got a ton done today. Finished framing the deck extension and started on the decking. We also got the footers for the Brew Shed laid out, dug and poured. Tomorrow I hope to have the decking complete and the shed platform framed up.

Thanks! I added a second tap a couple weeks ago and didn't want to use a commercial tap handle for my Home brew. I had some pistons laying around from an incomplete set I acquired so, 10 min a drill bit and a tread tap BAM! I created my favorite tap handle. when my new logo stickers come in next...

    Poolside Brewpub

Well it's been doing a lot of raining here the past couple days so not much progress. I did however basically steal this full height refrigerator off Craigslist for $50. It looks like I will be able to fit 5 kegs and have plenty of room for other pool side refreshments. It's not going to be easy...

Yesterday a lot of time was spent bickering and tweaking the layout. Decided to move the hot tub off the platform to make more room for a seating area. The only picture I snaped yesterday was of my pops working as I was checking into Untapped for national beer day. I did find a nice full size...
