It was a "extract" Kit i presume, I added 8 liters of water to it. And than pitched the yeast that came with it.

Kit says Day 3-5 Transfer into Secondary Doesn't say a specific F.G Just said S.G (1.040-4.050) than Transfer to Secondary Day 3-5 (1.020 or Lower) And a Brew House Stout

I am doing a Brewhouse Kit and I have my Hyhdrometer right in my Carboy and its Been stuck at 1.020 since I transferred into the second. Primary Start 12/3/12 S.G 1.046 Transfer to Secondary 12/8/12 O.G if 1.020 Now its sitting at 1.020 Constant temperature of 20-22*C

A Brewhouse Kit Stout. The box beside it is conditioning bottles of a Dark Munich Lager, have cracked a few of those already and delicious. Damn this hobby is to addicting. :ban::tank:

I had brewed my first batch a few weeks ago, and i completely can relate. I have a "brew closet" as I call it my other half calls its out store closet :/ no fun lol. But I would frequently check it and smell it and always looking into the fermenter. Cheers when you try it mine was delicious

Just wondering your guys opinions? I am bottling tomorrow and I have heard around to fill your bottles (I have a auto filler) and than place the cap on top but wait to allow the co2 to clear the oxygen or headspace in the bottle? Essentially am I asking - After finish filling the bottle I...

Hey guys so I am in the process of getting my gear together. And I am hunting for my brew kettle. I came across this now I know nothing about propane burners. Can anyone tell me if this is worth it the kettle looks nice and the fact i get a burner? CLICK ME TO SEE Good deal or no? Thanks

I got the flask, the DME and yeast nutrients on amazon. It was actually bought from Midwest supplies but through amazon it was cheaper with shipping buying on amazon. Pm me if you want the direct link

Got it today :) Well the Flask, DME, and Yeast Nutrients. The 1" stir bar came in last week. Did not realize my flask was so big, o well now prepared for bigger OG brews :ban: Next Project > Build a Stir Plate, luckily I got all the parts hanging around

So I bought a starter kit off amazon 2L flask DME Yeast Nutrients And foam for top My question is Is the 2L to big? I bought it thinking bigger better but got it to do and boy is it significantly bigger than I thought. Can I do the starter in here for a 5gallon batch with my 1"...
