    How to aerate an AG batch in Carboy

    This is what I use, too. Except I built it myself. Midwest sells replacement blades for the mix stir for $4. These and an aluminum rod from Home Depot plus a small SS bolt and lock nut will yield the same thing for less than $12 total.

    I just found a growler of a ginger infused pumpkin ale from a local brewpub at the bottom of my beer fridge. I'm enjoying that.

    What I did for beer today

    Tried my first BIAB session this morning and re-plumbed the CO2 lines in my kegerator tonight. Also cleaned a few cornies while enjoying a Patersbier (from NB) that I brewed about 2 years ago.

    Sweet Stout Deception Cream Stout

    Finally tried my batch after about 3 weeks of bottle conditioning. It is outstanding! This was my second all-grain batch and it turned out quite well. I added a bit of a vanilla bean in secondary and I really like the flavor. I will definitely be brewing this again!
