[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Hello All, I have a problem that I was hoping someone could help me with. I've had my RPints up and running since 20 October. I've updated it to the 2015 BJCP styles, and I've added some custom Tap Handle images thanks to kaljade. I just went into the admin portion and went to add a new beer...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Once again you all came through. I was able to go in and remove the Foreign Key relationships as knanzer recommended and was able to remove the old BJCP beer styles and update to the 2015 styles. Since I haven't been up and running in RPints too long, I only had 7 beers loaded. I went ahead...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Knanzer I'm getting the following error: #1701 - Cannot truncate a table referenced in a foreign key constraint (`raspberrypints`.`beers`, CONSTRAINT `beers_ibfk_1` FOREIGN KEY (`beerStyleId`) REFERENCES `raspberrypints`.`beerStyles` (`id`)) From what i've read, there is another table...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Knanzer, I can't access phpmyadmin. I tried accessing on my rpi using 192.168.1.101/phpmyadmin and I tried localhost/phpmyadmin and I get the following error: Not Found The requested URL /phpmyadmin was not found on this server. Apache/2.4.10 (Raspbian) Server at 192.168.1.101 Port 80 I...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

knanzer, I've never worked with this type of programming before. I found the file under www/sql/ folder and I opened the schema.sql file, but I'm not sure what to remove from the file. Would it be a lot to ask for the steps to follow to do this? Thanks in advance. GMan-62

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

That's true. One thing I found for my system is in using the adafruit flow meters, I had to set the pulse count in the pours.php file to 1700. I'm using 1 1/2' of beer line from the disconnect to the input of the flow meter and 9' of beer line from the output of the flow meter to the faucet...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Finally got Raspberry Pints up and running, and wanted to share a few photos of the final product with the group. My thanks goes out to day_trippr & Kal for taking the time to help a complete novice to the world of RPI. I built the Keezer, and the custom Tap Handles were created by Kevin Lane...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I’ve used that calculator before and it indicated I needed 11 ft w/o the flowmeters, but I’ve been using 3/16” ID bev line that is 5’ 6” long with no problem. I know there’s a bit of churn with the meters so I thought adding 5’ would do the trick...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Kal, day_trippr, I've got everything up and running with the mods for my tap handles to display in rpints, and a slight mod to the color of the font for the beer description. I'm finally going to plum my flowmeters into my keezer. I'm using the adafruit flow meters and changed the...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Kal, I was able to get it set. I had to make the images 55 pix x 186 pix. It displays well, and I can read them easily. Thanks for the assist. Once I get my handles, I'll upload a photo of my keezer with the display and my handles.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Kal, Roughly what size do the images have to be for the taps? I'm able to make the changes and the handles show up, but they are way to big. I'm using a beer bottle as the handle and have included a pic. Also, does it require modifying the width of the column for the TAP #? Thanks.

Kal, Where do you go to change the font color for the tasting notes (Beer Description). I've been looking at styles under admin and trying to remember back to my HTML coding days which was 20 years ago. Thanks, GMan-62
