    Ohh gotcha! I'll def. let everyone know how it turns out! But, takes time! Like 8 hrs total of rising! Idk, my girl is baking it so I just say "ohh yea honey, that's good" an drink my coffee stout homebrew.... An watch the game.

    Well today was a good day so far, brewed up a nice Belgian strong ale. Everything went nice an smooth, now with the spent grains my girlfriend is baking a few breads... Should be interesting. Never done this before so idk how it will turn out. Anyone ever bake a bread with their spent grains?

    When you buy a beer just to compare to your homebrew an simply tell yourself.... "Ummm. Yea just what I thought, mines better"

    La Petite Orange - Orange Zest

    in all honesty its up to you man!! thats what homebrewing is all about. IMO i would/ have done both.. at flame out i added orange zest... once i transferred into secondary i tasted.. needed a little more so i added.. you could even add at bottling (orange extract) CHEERS!

    for the Vanilla taste i would go with the bean not the extract. you can buy them very cheap online 5-10 bucks an the taste is much better an smooth IMO. i did a vanilla bean porter just a few months ago and im drinking it now.. i used 3 beans through out my process and next time i will only use...

    Well I have been doing extract brews for over 2 years an the beer came out great! So I never really wanted to go all grain, but now that I did my first one I'm kicking myself in the butt... Not only is there sooooo much more to it... It takes longer!! So that means more beers with the guys...

    yes... already took the bike out and looked at that place... and.. got some supplies haha.. i also checked out strange brew. The place is HUGE! also purchased a few things.. (stout, and a Porter to brew tomorrow)
