Random stuff that I bought when I thought I knew where I was headed. The wedding is this coming Saturday October 1st. So I've got less than a week to get my **** together.

I have to adapt my cornelius kegs to their commercial fittings. I assumed I had 1/4" NPT female to tie into his stuff. Apparently there's a thing called "beer thread"? I have the wrong parts. This is a picture of the venue's end of the thing.

I'm thinking of giving it a whirl.

I took the kegs apart and soaked them with PBW in 5 gallon buckets, over half full, top and bottom. I removed the pin locks and soaked them in PBW also. I replaced all the o-rings with new. I also did a good rinse with StarSan before flling them.

I am down to 1/2 oz of StarSan. I am starting into kegging. My first attempt is using pin-lock Corny kegs. I have friend who used to spray a little diluted StarSan onto his pin-locks before attaching his lines. He had a recyled cleaner spray bottle he used. Does anyone else do this? Is there...

Red-jelly looking stuffin the carboy. I racked to corny keg. Small klumps of the stuff. I got too busy and did not take pictures. It looked like cherry colored bugers. The beer was an old Dunkel weisen kit... Like 5+ years old, LME style. I sipped some. It tasted like Guiness Extra Stout...

That's beautiful. All the lines are very nicely trained. Each line lloks like you can set the pressure individually deoending in each beer's requirements too.

I have not done this on any of my flip top bottles. I think it would be unnecessary.

I cleaned all mine out with PBW and placed new o-rings all around. I plan to use Starsan to sterilize before filling.. My CO2 hasn't been hooked up since before the last owner over three years ago. Does CO2 keep OK?

I was given a soda keg setup with a steel tank. It is a few years out of service. I intend to use it to serve my beer at a wedding reception. I have never had my own setup. 1 Can the chemical compostion/purity be verified. 2 Is there a way to look inside and see if there is rust?
