    On Friday I made a starter for a hefeweisen (wlp300) for a Saturday brew day. I had to delay my brew day till tomorrow (Monday). Will my starter be ok? is the yeast sill healthy for pitching?

    You will then need to adjust the amount of sugar you use for the remaining beers. You could add that to the bottling bucket. 25 beers would = around 2.5 oz of corn sugar (depending on what style your are brewing).

    You need to use a different amount of sugar for the party pig. http://www.partypig.com/HB%20New%20Instructions%207%2008.pdf these instructions say to add 1/4 - 1/3 a cup of corn sugar.

    I used ACE hardware for my conversion. They had everything I needed including the SS washers. Not to mention people that actually know what they are talking about like my big box stores.

    bump I need to run to the LHBS and pick up a yeast. If they dont have notty what should I use.

    I checked the gravity tonight. There was no change in the reading from OG. I gave the carboy a good shaking and will check it in the AM. If I don't see any activity I will venture to the LHBS during lunch and pray the have another packet of notty. If they dont should I use safale 05?

    I am crossing my fingers that the fermentation has kicked off when I get home. I got the last package of nottingham from the LHBS. So i hope he had some more come in over the weekend. Any thoughts on what to do if I cant get my hands on another package of nottingham?

    I used table sugar for priming with my last batch....I couldn't tell a difference. I used 3/4 a cup of table sugar for a 5 gallon batch

    I think the aeration was pretty solid....however I am keeping the brew in a swamp cooler at 65 degrees. Should I take it out of the cooler until the process really kicks off?
