anyone have a good recipe for Jamaican style ginger beer the kind that has that sharp ginger bite not ginger ale?I use kegs and co2 carb if that helps

sweet breads boil in beer 10 min cut into bite size or so grill 10 min take off wrap in bacon re season 10 more min and your good you cant over cook them so grill away

yea i have the co2 going in the out post so it bubbles up though the beer to help carb I though this was standard practice.

is the beer already fermented are you aging it in the barrel or are you fermenting in the barrel if you are aging is it sealed if so are you worried about continued fermentation creating pressure in the barrel?

ok I just keged my first two beers after a week of cold crashing in the fridge at 40F got them hooked up with co2 going in the out at 12 psi am I good?

can you put the sock on the outlet side or the keg side of the siphon that would trap any thing you suck up inside the sock you would also be able to utilize the entire surface area of the sock and you wouldn't be creating a pressure drop do to the restriction of the sock on the intake side...

I have two 5 gallon brews fermenting just a quick check I put them in the fermenter Sunday evening they went crazy for a day or so now they are bubbling at every 13seconds and the other one at every minute and a half is this good?

wow quick responses thanks I sanitized the air lock replaced it and cleaned up it was on the work bench in the garage so not to bad but it did hit the ceiling . its Irish red
