I've used the Magnetic Springs water from Wal-Mart. Although ours says the source water is Magnetic Springs, so it may be different. I usually throw about a tsp or two of gypsum in and have NEVER had any problems with that water. Nice find on the water report.

Is that Delco water? If so, I've used it in a few batches with decent results. I was at a buddy's house and he has some type of filter that he uses, but I'm not sure what type. I'll inquire.

I used it the Northern Brewer IPA kit. That beer turned out AWESOME. It was by far one of my best batches. I have never made (or even tried) a rye beer, so I can't comment how it would work in that particular scenario. But for an EKG hopped IPA, it rocks. I hope that helps a little.
