I want to move into kegging but can't get everything at once. Can I just get the kegs, beging conditioning in them, and get the rest of the stuff in a month or so? Do I need the CO2 right away?

I thought everything was pretty good EXCEPT the Summer Ale. Possibly one of the worst beers I've had. It has a taste like the most bitter part of a lemon rind. Again, everything else was pretty good.

Welcome to the addiction! I returned to brewing on Super Bowl Sunday after a 12 year hiatus. In the last 2 1/2 months I've brewed 5 times. I would be more but my SECOND garage fridge is now full. Enjoy!

Milk crates! Once I started using them I never went back. They're also great for 2 person carries.

Fill 8-12 Gatorade bottles and sanitize the outside of them. Place them in your freezer until brew day. Drop them in to your wort one to two at a time. Replace as they melt. You can use them in conjunction with your chiller.

You can bet I'll be paying more attention now. I'm thinking some Mesquite and maybe a pound of local honey. Thanks again for all the info. I'm feeling very motivated to try this.

It's funny, I spend nearly every day in the desert, see hundreds of Mesquite trees and have no idea when the "season" would be. Sonoran style may be my new mission. Thanks for the info.

Watch Craig's List for garage sales or people getting rid of brewing equipment. I use the search word "beer". A couple weeks ago I picked up about $300 worth of equipment for $100. That included a 35 qt SS pot, 2 carboys, a wort chiller, and so on. Also watch Craig's list for people getting...
