    Coed Baby Showers.

This is exactly what I should have done. All I'm saying is, lets try to look out for one another and nip this thing in the bud before it happens. I've already made it pretty clear that I'm never going to another shower again. For those out there who have a baby shower in their future...

    Coed Baby Showers.

I don't have the technology or the steady hand to pull off a procedure like that. :D

    Coed Baby Showers.

lol... I think this thread backfired already.

    Coed Baby Showers.

Usually weddings have open bars and free food, so I don't mind them. Baby showers are a whole new ballgame though.

    Coed Baby Showers.

Who is responsible for this bull****? I just attended one of these (on my day off) a couple weeks ago and it was terrible. No alcohol, it was hot as hell, and the men actually had to participate in stupid baby shower games! (For 4 hours!) I'd like to know when and why this happened? I thought...

    calling all disc golfers.....

I used to use a putter but couldn't really find one I liked. I started with the Innova Aviar which I was really inconsistent with. Then I went to a DGA Titanic, which I liked at first but the lip is pretty large and the wind likes to take it to 2-3 putt bogeyland. Purchased the Ching Juju and...

    calling all disc golfers.....

I really need to pick my discs up again. I haven't played in over a year. I miss it. :( Ever played Idlewild? It is the most beautiful course I've ever seen.

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

That doesn't sound too bad. I was afraid I'd be recharging it quite often so I was unsure about purchasing one. I'm still in the "under construction" stages of mine so the freezer has pretty much turned into a vessel where I just keep my commercial beer cold. So, depending on my mood, I open it...

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

How often do you have to "recharge" the one in your keezer?

    I guess I'm a drug dealer now?!

Oh yeah, lets accessorize. But if we throw in the shovel we might as well throw in the Jason mask and a rusty machete. Either way, I stand behind the 96%. :D

    I guess I'm a drug dealer now?!

Honestly, if they don't respond to you being an affable neighbor, I'd say have fun with it. I agree wholeheartedly with all of the previous "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar" posters, but if you've tried to reach out, and also spoken with the local PD, then why not? As a homebrewer...

    I guess I'm a drug dealer now?!

Next time they're watching, come out of the garage in your best blood stained wife beater, (or make one if you don't have one on hand) throw some garbage bags in the trunk of you car, slam it closed, and give them the "I'm watching you" point. This should work, I'm almost 96% positive.

Educate my Palate - A question of flavors and how to identify them.

I took the advice of some of the previous replies and put together a build-your-own six pack today. I chose 5 different styles and a chocolate stout for SWMBO to try since I skipped over the IPA's. (If you can show me one I'll enjoy on the first one instead of the 6th, hats off to you) I went...

Educate my Palate - A question of flavors and how to identify them.

Thanks a lot guys. All this has been really helpful. I'm sure I will have more questions in the future, but in the meantime, cheers!

Educate my Palate - A question of flavors and how to identify them.

Thanks for all of the replies. I didn't even think of the "build your own six-pack" thing, good idea. I downloaded the BJCP guidelines as well. Looks like I have some drinking to do! :ban: Cheers.

Educate my Palate - A question of flavors and how to identify them.

I am coming close to my first equipment purchase and eventually, my first brew day. However, my palate is so uneducated as far as homebrew is concerned that I have no idea what I want to brew for my first batch or (technically speaking) what it is about certain beers that I like and dislike. Is...
