I dont know much about using Yeast Nutrient. when would you add it in the original recipe to help avoid rhino farts?
i was thinking adding to the 4 gallons of apple juice so when i add my wort and pitch the yeast it will all be at proper temp?

is this the exact recipe or is this your interpretation of the instructions?
as far as repair... its gunna be more bitter and less flavor and aroma... so add some hops at the 15 and 5 min... and dryhop for the...

using my ebay thermostat for controlling my ferm temp..
it works perfect when i tape the temp probe to the side... of my carboy with some bubble wrap.

im planning on fermenting 2 ales same time.. roughly the same temp but at a staggered...
i guess that would depend on the efficiency of your ferm chamber?

This! use the purple board... National Gypsum makes a product called XP gypsum board that is mold resistive, they also make a product eXP which is Extended Exposure mold resistive.
slap some FRP on that and you should be gold
