My first brew went really well and is now bubbling away in the fermenter. It's going to be a long few weeks to wait and try but everything is going well so far.
I have a 15 gallon polar ware kettle with a half inch ball valve. It did not come with a hose adapter so I bought a brass one to attach. Is brass ok or will it give it a funky flavor?
I am doing an IPA for my first time and my basement where I am looking to ferment is a little cool. I can sustain 65-67 degrees. Do you think this will be adequate fermenting and bottle storing temp?
I am new to brewing. I have all my equipment and am looking for an easy beer to brew for my first time. Any suggestions? I am a fan of IPAs but open to brew anything.
