    Barb fitting sizes

I am wondering if there is any standard for hose barb sizes. I am trying to connect 1/2" tubing to 3/8" tubing, and I found a "1/2 to 3/8" barb adapter, but the 3/8 tubing fits tight, which is good, but the 1/2 tubing is very loose. I checked the OD of both sides of the adapter and the 1/2"...

    CO2 Regulator Spring

I am new to kegging, purchased a low end regulator from the for sale forum on here, it seems to work but is very jumpy and adjustment is very stiff. Opened it up and nothing binding, adjust knob turns very freely without the spring. My question is, is it possible to replace the spring...

New York Fitting install tool and solder/flux kit

Easy Stove-Top Pasteurizing - With Pics

I am fairly new to cider making, but reading through this and other threads it seems like the biggest unknown/ risk with these stovetop pasteurization methods is knowing how much fermentation has taken place after adding the sugar for carbonation/ sweetening and trying to choose the right time...

    Filling bottling bucket

No problem with gravity.. The surface in my bottling bucket is always below bottom of fermenting bucket. And i think I can figure out something to do with the beer left in the hose😀

    Filling bottling bucket

Tubing isn't extra long nor is it really in my way, it just seems to want to float or curl up so its spraying at the surface rather than being submerged during racking.

    Filling bottling bucket

Bottled my 2nd batch last Sunday. One thing I struggled with is keeping the end of tubing submerged when siphoning from fermenting bucket to bottling bucket, especially while trying to keep an eye on where the autosiphon is drawing from, etc. One thing I thought of but haven't tried is...
