Have you contacted their support? Also, when filled with hot water try running your hands over it to see if there are any hot spots leaking heat. I wonder if there's spots inside missing insulation.

Installed the 240v boilcoil this morning. Had a slight issue in that the punch I bought barely made a dimple in the pot. The bit walked every so slightly on one hole but it's not noticeable. Everything lines up nicely and holds water.

Does seem small. I have 5 gallon aluminum pots from Amazon that were inexpensive but very nice. For full boil he would need 7 or 8 gallon but 9 or 10 would be better because of boil overs.
