Awesome, Is it right to assume that breiss light DME will replace the marris malt?

Do you know the boil volume? I do ful boils and would like to adjust the hops accordingly if that recipe is set for 2.5 - 3 gall boil.

I Did a search and there is a couple different versions gonig around. Can anyone provide a recent clone of this brew.. An extract batch. 5 Gall boil would be ideal but I can convert if need be. Also, if no extract batches are available i will try to convert the AG recipe.

Unfortunately I dont have a recipe program... I will then assume I need only to convert the 2 row to DME. That said, if i use the formula x=(51*5.5)/44 i get that I need 6.4 lbs of DME which is for X.. Does that sound right?

Yes, there is a partial mash but I am only in to extract plus steeping grains. Id like to use DME and Steep is possible. I also do full boils. Here it is, 8lbs 2 -row 2lbs - vienna .5lb crystal 10l

Can anyone point me to where I can figure out how to convert an all grain recipe to a DME and steep recipe? Thanks!

When i run the hops and all the info through this calculator it gives me 61 IBU. When i set it for a 7 gall boil it gives me 80 something IBU. Why the discrepancy from beer smith to this calc? http://www.franklinbrew.org/tools/ibu.html

I will definitely be doing that in the future. I would just like to start with a mini mash. I guess if you put the kettle in the oven the the temp is easy to control.
