    Oktobefest brewed on the 9th.. Could only get one of those COOPERS brewing yeast packs. I rehyrdated it. No airlock activity, no more kraus is almost gone as well. OG was 63

    Brewed some Oktoberfest the other day. sitting in primary with no airlock activity (which is fine), there is also little foam going on. How long should I wait before taking readings or re pitching. the starting og was 63

    Another issue

    My roommate put my beer into the secondary Carboy after 3 days It had been foaming for a day and it was at 1.010 and bot bubbling for half the second day. I do not know If the jump to the second Carboy will effect the beer?

    Just wondering

    Just wondering what to look for (or not to worry about) during 2nd fermentation. I put mine into the second carboy the other day and it appears nothing at all is happening, no foam, no bubbles just plain ol' brown liquid. We good? haha cheers

    I just made a batch of IPA I cleaned and followed all instructions. I put it in the bucket overnight to find it overflowing with foam in the morning. I replaced the airlock with a blow-off valve. After 12 hours when it stopped bubbling I replaced the valve with the airlock. Since that time...
