    Does diswasher really "sanitize?"

    One thing I have done is put a bucket of oxyclean solution in the garage. After rinsing, just toss the bottles in the bucket. Next time I go to toss some more bottles, grab the de-labeled ones out of the bucket and rinse em off. The first time I brewed.... I de-labeled all the bottles at once...

    If you aim for 6 and boil off 1 per hour.... wouldn't you need 7 gallons pre-boil? or do you do 2 hour boils?

    Oh, forgot to answer your question. 6 kegs for that many people seems like overkill to me if one criteria for a successful wedding is remembering it. If you make 2-3 kegs and plan to buy the rest.... you can make a game day decision on how much beer will actually be needed.

    Found that this evening. It looks like I should have used 9oz of priming sugar for the hefe and 3 for the 1554 clone. I used 5 for both.

    It rolls, but isn't violent. I can boil a little harder if I want to, but it seems like I boil on the edge of violent... Which could cause wort to jump out of the kettle.

    Good point about the altitude and CO2. For the first batch, I used Walmart drinking water. Second batch used Monument, Colorado tap water. Same issue on both beers. Fridge time ranged between 2 hours and 1 week. Same issue on both beers. Maybe I should just try upping the priming...

    I should have explained.... the hefe was extract and the 1554 clone was AG. Both with the same issue. Would elevation have anything to do with it? I live at 7000 feet.

    lol... maybe I should be more careful with my jokes. There really isn't much head generated in the first place for both these beers. They feel carbonated, just not quite as much compared to a bottle conditioned store bought micro of the same style. The 1554 clone is from AHS, so I won't type...
