    Brass? More than likely copper. Galvinized pipe in older homes. It's safe. Might be a bit dirty but safe. I use mine with a R.V. Hose.

    Just looking at your photos I noticed the XLR connections for your probes. Possibly there is a issue with using the wrong connectors for probes. I found this on the auberin website under connectors.

    The new beersmith update has built in timer based on the input of the recipe. It's really sweet! Great addition!

    And we guarantee our welds for the life of the kettle. If they ever leak, give me a ring and we will fix it for free. We can weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. All welding is done with a (not cheap) Square Wave TIG welder.
